That's right faithful readers, Bill Gate's Microsoft has bought the mighty Nintendo. The deal was signed earlier this morning, and Nintendo and all its titles and characters will be trasnferred over to Microsoft following the end of the year.

"We are very happy to have acquired the company that has kept video games alive for so many years. The Microsoft family is glad to welcome Mario, Donkey Kong, and Metroid into our list of characters," quoted Bill Gates during this mornings press conference.

There were even hints of a Mario-Halo crossover series. However, most shockingly, Nintendo announced the effective immeadiatley they were to stop maunufacutrin Wii console systems. Nintendo games will now be soley produced for the Xbox 360. Despite the initial uproar, many have come to realise that things might not be as bad as they seem. Atleast the games will have good graphics now right?

Ah Microsoft...Hopefully those Xbox 360's won't be as prone to any viruses like my Internet Explorer-using laptop is.

Really I think the bigger news here is that Nintendo has in fact begun work on 3D games for a newer DSi system I believe. I can't remember many details about it, but it exists. Youtube video proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPPCvVmx5Ho
