While there are numerous rumors swirling around the Internet regarding the identity of Spider-man's newest nemesis, the same source which leaked Fassbender's name to Showbiz 411 is claiming that the critically acclaimed actor will be playing Curt Connors, also known as the animalistic Lizard. Spider-man fans have waited years for the sadistic reptile to grace the silver screen. Curt Connors has appeared without his scaly counterpart in two of the previous films, leading to speculation before its cancellation that the Lizard would appear in Spider-man 4.
