There are few game makers more critically acclaimed then the RPG giants Bioware. Creators of such beloved series as Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic, the studio has garned particular acclaim for last year's epic fantasy Dragon Age: Origins. As earlier speculated, Bioware has announced that Dragon Age story is far from over. Today on its official website,the studio unvealed Dragon Age 2 with this press release:

When it comes to video games there are few developers more beloved than Square Enix. The studio, most famous for its Final Fantasy series, has been a prescence in the video game world for decades and has a following of millions fans.


This year, Square has announced Mindjack, a new property mixing both action/shooter elements and RPG mechanics. The game centers around the ability to manipulate other people's minds and will feature a complex story driven campaign. Also new to Square Enix is the concept of mulitplayer co-op, which will be a major feature of Mindjack. More on this as it develops.

Bioware's sci-fi epic sequel has just recieved an official release date, January 26th 2010. So us sci-fi rpg fans can finally get our fix on what is shaping up to be yet another masterpiece.
