Here you go shooter fans. The trailer for the latest Call of Duty game is out, and as rumor has suggested for months, it appears we will taking a little trip to Vietnam.

Activision has announced the title of the highly anticipated Call of Duty sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Produced by Treyarch, the sequel will put player's behind enemy lines to combat large threats. We do not have a time period as of this moment. The game is due out for release November 9th this year.

This video will most likely not fit in this post box, but I encourage you to watch it at other sources. It is easily the best thing I have ever seen out of Halo. It has all the poignancy and story that are missing from the majority of the games. If Halo Reach is awesome as this trailer, I'll tkae back everything I've said about the franchise.

Dreamworks's higly sucessful, critically and financially, animated epic How To Train Your Dragon, will now become the studio's newest franchise. The film that has consistently dominated the box office since its release in March and to this day has grossed $375 million worldwide. Part of the film's success is contributed to the growing popularity of 3D, which was one of How To Train Your Dragon's major draws. The sequel is expected to be released in 2013.

It's Monday again, and that means, more pointless web videos! Great joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains. Well there are no bad Watchmen references in this batch of videos, but there is some rather funny stuff.

3. Orchestra Teacher Freak Out

This guy is amazing. Seriously, I wish he was my teacher. Even though I don't play an orchestra instrument, I would love to have this guy teach my history class or something. Either way, kudos to him and the student for pulling off this amazing prank.

Although never hailed as one of Marvel's better films, Ghost Rider was a commercial success when it was released in 2007, and has even gained a small cult following among the comic book fanbase. Talks of sequel have been thrown about since the film's release, but have not gone far until now.

Columbia studios loses their control over the Ghost Rider property this November, if a sequel has not begun production. This creates a problem seeing as the films star, Nicolas Cage, is currently busy with other projects such as the third film in the National Treasure franchise. Columbia has now apparently accelerated talks to create a sequel, without the first films leading man. However, noone seems to be asking, should a sequel really be made?

According to CHUD.com, it looks like Marvel may be making large steps towards expanding their film franchise. Apparently the famous comic book industry has been in talks with directors and screenwriters this week on adapting some of Marvel's lesser known characters to the silver screen. Each film would have a reported budget of around $20 to $40 million, and reportedly would feature characters such as Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Ka-zar, Dazzler (?), and the famous former sorcerer supreme Dr. Strange. While it is likely we will not receive a film adaptation of any of these comics for years to come, it is exciting to hear that some of Marvel's second tier characters will get their time in the spotlight. Of all the character's discussed though, Dr. Strange's name was reportedly the one with the most interest and excitement. There are even some rumors of a large budget adaptation being created following Marvel's Avengers film in 2012.

For many years, it has been rumored that Ridley Scott would return to direct a prequel to his 1979 horror classic, Alien. Although it existed as little more then a nerd fantasy until recently, details for the project have been hazy for months. However, Thursday Scott held an interview with MTV, where he dropped the following information: "It's set in 2085, about 30 years before Sigourney [Weaver's character Ellen Ripley]. It's fundamentally about going out to find out 'Who the hell was that Space Jockey?' The guy who was sitting in the chair in the alien vehicle — there was a giant fellow sitting in a seat on what looked to be either a piece of technology or an astronomer's chair ... Our man [Tom Skerritt as Captain Dallas] climbs up and says "There's been an explosion in his chest from the inside out — what was that?" I'm basically explaining who that Space Jockey — we call him the Space Jockey — I'm explaining who the space jockeys were ... [The film] is about the discussion of terraforming — taking planets and planetoids and balls of earth and trying to terraform, seed them with the possibilities of future life."


In addition to that awesomeness, Scott confirmed that famous creature designer H.R. Giger would be assisting him with the effects in the new film. Looks like fans of the Alien saga will finally get the sequel they deserve.
