Even though pre-production on the newest Superman reboot is well underway, casting for the title character has still been a relative mystery to the general population.

Rumors have been swirling that Chuck star Zachary Levi may play the Man of Steel in the Christopher Nolan produced film, but today news has risen to the internet that yet another actor may be in the running to play the world's most famous super hero.

According to Comicbookmovie.com, Mad Men star John Hamm is being "seriously considered" for the role. While there is no official word yet, WB still has some time to pick an actor. We won't be seeing The Man of Steel until late 2012.
