Guardians of Ga'Hoole is a series that has a great nostalgic value for me. The story of heroic sentient owls was one that I first started reading in 4th grade, and followed all the way though. This adaption by Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) looks to be a faithful adaptation filled with spectacle and wondor. Although I'm hesitant about the voice acting and the track record adaptations of children's books have, but I'm excited nonetheless.
