The highly anticipated next James Bond film, the third to star British actor Daniel Craig, has been postponed indefinitely after MGM issued a statement earlier today. MGM has been in financial danger for quite some time, and with negotiations for the studio going poorly, the future of the studios productions seem bleak. Producers of the recent Bond films, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, issued the following statement: "Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely. We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of Bond 23."

Whether your a fan or not, it appears as it will be quite some time before we see the unstoppable British super spy return to film.
