Yesterday, the news was announced that Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and The Olympians) was the star of the new Spider-man film. With sources claiming that they were 100% sure that he would be cast for the role.

However, today Deadline is reporting that this source was incorrect and that Lerman is not even on the list of candidates for the role. As you can see the whole situation is rather chaotic.
