With Comic Con 2010 approaching news has begun to surface regarding the upcoming Superman film produced by Hollywood heavy hitter Christopher Nolan. This week information surfaced that Jonah Nolan, Christopher's younger brother, would direct, and that Chuck star Zachary Levi had auditioned for the main role.

However Moviehole insists that there is more too these rumors than initially seen. Although it is likely that Jonah will in fact get the job, it has yet to be set in stone. As for Levi's involvement with The Man of Steel? There seems to be a less definite answer regarding this. The site insists that WB is in fact searching for a television star to play the main role, but that no auditions have been held yet.

Moviehole has also recieved exclusive information regarding the nature of the film from their WB source: "This Superman is neither a reboot or a sequel. It's just a Superman film. The basic elements of the storyline are: BIG action, BIG set-pieces, witty dialogue, playful romance, a light-hearted feel good mood juxtaposed with derring-do and danger, top-notch cast, epic feel, sci-fi background (sounds a little like Donner, right?) BUT with some sort of huge twist on the legend."
