Sony Pictures announced today that writers David Koepp and Ethan Cohen (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Spider-man, and Tropic Thunder) will be scripting the upcoming sequel to the Men In Black franchise. Interestingly, the studio also announced that the film will take place in 1969. What that means is yet to be determined.

Will Smith is slated to reprise his role as Agent Jay, and Tommy Lee Jones is in talks to once again play Agent Kay. Apparently, Josh Brolin has also been approached to play a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones's character.

Are you confused? I certainly am...
